I promised for not to waste food & water - after seeing thi - anithakumariknf@gmail.com

Yes offcourse, THIS PICTURE HURTS ME A LOT...
By this I like to share one of my view. Here in Canada people are highly blessed with food, water and shelter. Thats what people dont know the worth of it. Ironically, each and everyone of them waste food that they buy. Often people store more food and at last waste food at any cost. Many people from different countries suffering for this scarcity. They are facing many incurable diseases and expecting help from other countries.
This picture not comes to you surprise. But its real we have them living around us and in our neighbourhood today,we can change it with prayers & always lending a helping hand to those in need...
This is one more reason why we have to thank God for the food that we can have easily.I feel very greatful for wat I have today.We are so blessed for the wonderful works of Gods hand in our life today;
JUST THINK OF THIS......
LET US START DOING SOMETHING ............
USEFUL FOR THEM................

My gosh, that is powerful! Well done Anitha, it is important to get the word out. Canadians really don't appreciate our food and water source. If they only knew...

This is a very unfortunate yet realistic reality in the world today. Canadians are indeed highly unaware of the suffering that is going on in other countries. It is a known fact that people do take food and water for granted. We can only hope that visuals such as these will set people's priorities straight.

This is some serious food for thought.

People tend to look at those who have more and say, "if only I was so lucky." Adapting the grass is always greener philosophy.

We as Canadians are so lucky to have been born into such a bountiful country; we are so lucky that we in fact take it for granted. We forget the value of what we have and forget about those who have less, because we are too busy wanting more or something different.

The grass may always be greener in your neighbours yard, but let’s use Anitha’s post to remind ourselves how impoverished the grass is across the pond.

Personally, I struggle to find balance between relishing in what I have and feeling guilty for it. As a Canadian and a global citizen, I wish to take my feelings of guilt and transform them into constructive efforts to create stability across the globe. Hopefully some day, through combined efforts, we can make these disturbing visuals become obsolete.

Hunger, I feel severe when it is in the midst of richness. The people who are below poverty line or waiting for government support for fulfilling their daily needs in rich countries are poor as same as children dying in Somalia.

I agree with the writer and promise not to waste food here. I will request people to donate food to Food banks
