Case Study Analysis on UNITED NATIONS ASSOCIATION OF CANADA QUINTE BRANCH

The UNAC was formed to safeguard and protect the policies and program of the United Nations. It was a National charitable organisation established in 1946. It strives for a better world through a variety of national projects focused on specific issues and audiences. It works closely with the educational communities in every province and territory to build their capacity to educate young people from a global perspective.

The mission and objectives of UNAC was laid out with high valued principles but it has failed to meet the objectives of the organisation in practise. The values are not reaching the public many fail to know that such an agency exist in the Quinte region. There is no relevant information in their website and is not defining any of there activities.Qualified and competent staff on the other hand, are less and there is not enough of decentralization of power.

The UNAC-Quinte was not able to make a positive impact on Belleville community through their educational and humanitarian programs they have chosen to support. Even though the agency is in its second decade of service they were not able to inspire the community on issues of international importance. Due to lack of publicity of its programs, failure of conducting programs based on its mission, existence of other agencies in the similar field of operation and presence of small ethnic groups in Quinte region.

So for this scarcity , the Quinte Branch has to recruit professional staff in order to reach success. Provoke effective marketing and networking stability. Exploring the Volunteer opportunity as well effective advertising. Finally, good campaigning and event promotion for high establishment among people.

People burned alive in Nigeria

Two days before I saw a video on my friend’s face book which involves some group of people beating and burning a person alive. When I asked what it is all about he said that’s the way it is in Nigeria. There is no official policing system or a judicial body to safeguard laws. He said the person that is burned alive is a thief who stole some things from a local market, and that’s the way the people punished him- burned alive. He also added that there is no body like human rights agency or any other of that sort to take notice of these things and this is how the society takes it, capital punishment for all kinds of crimes.

During that brief conversation he shared an experience of an encounter with a group of burglars engaged in a dacoit. They were able to do it for a full three hours moving from one house to another before the cops came in the next morning.
We may blame the government, the economy or any other person for all these kinds of activities that happen around us. There is a lot of inequality going around us. A person in one part of the world has to know no pains, while the other dies of desperation. We all go through our own lives no matter what.

The Mumbai attacks

http://www.abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=6361390&page=1

It was quite shocking for people all over the world to hear this shocking story of recent Mumbai attacks. A gang of terrorists has apparently showed up in the city with arms and shot people. Targeting people of high authorities such as diplomats staying in elite hotels seems too easy to do in a country like India.

Mumbai termed as the commercial capital of India has always been a keen target for the terrorists. This city is home for more than 3 million people and is busy day and night. In such a condition my question is how people in responsibility can take security for granted. This incident is a clear cut example of loose ended security in India.

This is not the first time Mumbai is been attacked, it’s been there for more than a decade. The people in Mumbai have almost taken it as a part and parcel of their lives. I can say this because quite recently when I was in India, the terrorists bombed three coaches of a train and a local railway station. More than 80 people died in that incident, but the city was on full swing the very next day as if nothing has happened. Those who lost their lives lost it; others have to be keep on moving with the fast paced life. These people who practices terrorism knows well that any efforts to emotionally torture the people in there is futile.

Education in Canada

Education is defined as acquiring skills. There are many different ways to be educated and many subjects that can be studied. A good education is one that teaches a students to think.

Of course, the Canadians were taught to think. They were cultivated on an individual level so they knew how to conceive ideas on their own. Similarly, students are trained to face new challenges in order to shape educational goals. Education is well organised in Canada, which is very different in India.

Education being able to understand life. As well as getting an opportunity to learn or train themselves to reach goal. So, I know about myself, how I desired to acquire more knowledge. This inner struggle got fulfilled when I reach Canada and acquired a relevant education through Public Relations field.

Throughout these views, the main ideas were that to be educated a student has to be an individual and be able to think. As well experience makes the man more perfect.

India' s mission to Moon

India's mission to Moon

India's mission to moon was much celebrated in India and other parts of the world as well. The 20 billion dollar project was awaiting approval for more than 2 years. The satellite boasts of cutting edge technology and high end transmission capability. In this hour i was just wondering does a poor and developing country like India needs it badly? There are more socio economic problems there than studying about moon, to add to it this is not the first time a country is on a mission to moon, several other countries like US, Japan and Russia have already done so. In this post i would like to draw a clearer picture about this.

India has an independent space research organisation known as ISRO which stands for Indian Space Research Organisation. Throughout its decade long of existence, it has won quite some achievements in the past and being a citizen of India I am proud to be a part of all these moments of triumph. This post is not about criticizing the moon mission, but i feel it is not a high time yet for such things. Besides, a collaboration with other countries would have been more cost efficient and the money thus saved could have been utilised for more useful things. In my opinion, a grass root level addressing of the problems such as literacy and population explosion should have been given priority.

High amount of pollution in big cities and traffic regulations eases the life in this planet rather than trying to study whats is happening in moon. I am not totally against the idea of this mission, and i agree it creates more knowledge and opportunities in the future, but a country like India could have waited a little longer.

Readers, this is a little bit controversial idea and the debate can move on and on. Feel free to express your ideas through your comments.

I promised for not to waste food & water - after seeing thi - anithakumariknf@gmail.com

Yes offcourse, THIS PICTURE HURTS ME A LOT...
By this I like to share one of my view. Here in Canada people are highly blessed with food, water and shelter. Thats what people dont know the worth of it. Ironically, each and everyone of them waste food that they buy. Often people store more food and at last waste food at any cost. Many people from different countries suffering for this scarcity. They are facing many incurable diseases and expecting help from other countries.
This picture not comes to you surprise. But its real we have them living around us and in our neighbourhood today,we can change it with prayers & always lending a helping hand to those in need...
This is one more reason why we have to thank God for the food that we can have easily.I feel very greatful for wat I have today.We are so blessed for the wonderful works of Gods hand in our life today;
JUST THINK OF THIS......
LET US START DOING SOMETHING ............
USEFUL FOR THEM................

Yes to HIV certificate

Hi guys,
Two years back ,I read an article from Malayala manorama , which is a local newspaper in Kerala, India on Monday,17 July 2006.

I saw a headline in the newspaper about ' majority in kerala survey says yes to HIV certificate '. I saw this title and got interested to say more about it in this blog. HIV certification before marriage was a commmon issue in kerala for the last 6 or 7 years. This article was about passing a law saying the same. More than 91 percent of people were supporting this view, through an SMS survey conducted by the newspaper.
In my point of view ,this report should not be a great issue among people ,where there is already a lot of incurable diseases in this world. If a family wants to give HIV certificate both to the bride as well as to the bridegroom, then this can lead to a sort of unfaithfulness between the couple right from the start of their marriage life.
For further refer : http://www.nerve.in/news:2535008625.

feel free to write what you think about it...because in these days it matters to each and everyone where we hear a lot of stories of separation between the couples , leaving their child to uncertainity.

Thank you
