Yes to HIV certificate

Hi guys,
Two years back ,I read an article from Malayala manorama , which is a local newspaper in Kerala, India on Monday,17 July 2006.

I saw a headline in the newspaper about ' majority in kerala survey says yes to HIV certificate '. I saw this title and got interested to say more about it in this blog. HIV certification before marriage was a commmon issue in kerala for the last 6 or 7 years. This article was about passing a law saying the same. More than 91 percent of people were supporting this view, through an SMS survey conducted by the newspaper.
In my point of view ,this report should not be a great issue among people ,where there is already a lot of incurable diseases in this world. If a family wants to give HIV certificate both to the bride as well as to the bridegroom, then this can lead to a sort of unfaithfulness between the couple right from the start of their marriage life.
